Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Making sure day-to-day transactions like cash receipts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll are documented correctly.
- Conducting timely and correct month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations like net assets, revenue, investments, expenses, payroll allocations, etc and making sure that accounting schedules are modified and correct.
- Making sure appropriate revenue and expense recognition.
- Tracking investment and cash balances and conducting cash flow estimating.
- Making sure of all finance and accounting functions obey with GAAP and federal laws and regulations.
- Supporting the budget managers and Director in building and tracking departmental, project, and organizational budget; supporting with monthly financial reporting requirements.
- Conducting fiscal year-end close activities and supporting with activities and needs of external auditors.
- Able to communicate daily with the Director of Finance.
- Repeatedly seeking and executing opportunities to modernize and enhance finance and accounting operations via technology comprising training staff to better usage of financial and accounting software.
- Handling select administration measures, like state unemployment and income tax registrations.
- Other responsibilities as given to fulfil organizational needs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have ICMA/ ACCA/ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts, finance from any reputed university.
- At least have 5 – 8 years of experience in similar role.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
