Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized and routine diagnostic tests like chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology.
- Able to operate cultured laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Present test outcomes and make sure correct.
- Identify and report abnormal or critical outcomes to physicians closely.
- Keep quality control processes and documentation.
- Make sure all work follows with infection control, safety and regulatory protocols like CLIA, ISO, CAP etc.
- Make specimens for testing and make sure appropriate labelling.
- Manage, store and dispose of biological samples as per standards.
- Standardize and keep lab instruments.
- Rectify problems with equipment or test outcomes.
- Coordinate with medical staff, pathologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Deliver training or guidance to lab assistants or new technologists.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Medical laboratory technology, Science, clinical laboratory from any reputed university.
- At least have 2 – 3 years of experience in similar role.
- Expertise in using MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point.
- Basic information about financial modeling.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
