Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle and monitor all the indirect and direct tax issues of the group, comprising Sales tax and Income tax.
- Make sure full compliance with tax rules and regulations throughout federal and provincial jurisdictions.
- Make and file correct tax returns, documentation and statements on time.
- Supervise the managing of audits, notices and hearings with tax bodies.
- Deliver expert advises on risk evaluation, tax planning and cost enhancement tactics.
- Stay up-to-date with new changes in tax laws and guide management consequently.
- Coordinate with external legal and advisors and consultants where required.
- Keep correct records and documentation in line with statutory needs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to make sure tax compliance and correct reporting.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have CA/ ACCA/ ACMA and MBA degree in Accounting, finance or other relevant qualification from any reputed university.
- At least 5 – 7 years of experience in similar roles in any industry.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
