Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Make sure correct and preparation on time, filling and submission of all related tax returns, comprising GST/VAT, income tax, and other relevant taxation.
- Stay updated regarding modifications in tax laws and rules, recommending the organization on probable effects.
- Prepare reply to inquiries, tax audits and assessments by tax bodies.
- Build tactics to reduce tax penalties and rectify problems efficiently.
- Build and keep internal controls to track ongoing tax compliance.
- Perform periodic internal reviews to make sure obeying to tax rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with finance, legal and commercial team members to evaluate the tax implications of transactions, contracts and corporate structures.
- Perform keen research over perplex tax issues and deliver advises to Head of Finance.
- Stay latest on industry related tax trends and evaluate their potential effect on organization.
- Coordinate with related departments to increase available tax benefits.
- Provide training to junior staff and share knowledge within the department.
- Act as the major point of contact for correspondence with tax authorities.
- Handle the making and submission of replies to tax authorities and requests for detail.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have CA/ ICMA/ B.COM/ M.COM/ MBA Degree in Finance or other relevant qualification from any reputed university.
- At least 5 – 8 years of experience in similar roles in any industry.
- Proficiency in using software like SAP B1.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
