Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Making sure day-to-day transactions like cash receipts, accounts payable, and credit card transactions, accounts receivable, and payroll are recorded appropriately.
- Conducting timely and correct month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations such as net assets, revenue, investments, expenses, payroll distributions, etc., making sure that accounting schedules are modified and correct.
- Making sure appropriate expense and revenue acknowledgement.
- Tracking investment and cash balances and performing cash flow estimation.
- Making sure all accounting and finance operations obey with usually accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and federal and local laws and standards.
- Provide support to the Director and budget managers in making and tracking project, departmental, and organizational budget; supporting with monthly financial reporting requirements.
- Conducting fiscal year-end close activities and supporting with activities and needs of external auditors.
- Cooperate daily with the Director of Finance.
- Frequently seeking and executing opportunities to streamline and enhance finance and accounting operations via technology comprising training staff to better usage financial and accounting software.
- Other duties as given to fulfil organizational needs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have CA/ ACCA/ CMA/ Bachelor’s Degree from any reputed university.
- At least have 5+ years of experience in similar role.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
