Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle and improve furnace operations – scrap charging, tapping, melting and billet casting.
- Make sure billet quality and chemical composition via appropriate slag and refining control.
- Supervise, train and lead furnace operators and shift team members to gain production targets.
- Cooperate with maintenance team members for refractory life, furnace lining and restrain shutdowns.
- Track and control yield, energy consumption, and production costs to optimal efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have B.Sc. / B.E. Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials or Industrial Engineering from any reputed university.
- At least have 8 – 12 years of experience in similar role.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
