Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains and allows permitting systems.
- Delivers training in fire stoppage and safety, fire extinguishers, fire drills, dorm safety, etc.
- Collaborate fire relevant emergency operations with state fire fighting organizations.
- Oversees contracts relevant to the installation and maintenance of halon systems, fire extinguishers, and hood extinguishing systems.
- Able to submit yearly fire safety budget.
- Make sure renovation and new construction projects making strategies are in comply with safety procedures and local regulations.
- Handles the actions of all Fire Safety Overseers to make sure University facilities are examined and fulfil with fire and life safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the government safety office and discusses with local administrators regarding fire safety concerns.
- Stay informed about fire relevant codes, regulations, strategies, etc.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Safety Management or relevant field from any reputed university.
- At least 5 years of experience in relevant industry.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
