Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handle the end-to-end payroll procedure for employees, make sure correctness and properness of payments.
  • Compute and procedure of statutory deductions, comprising Insurance contributions, income tax, and EOBI contributions.
  • Stay up-to-date with Pakistani payroll regulation and compliance needs, make sure fulfilment to all pertinent guidelines.
  • Monitor the supervision of employee pension schemes, comprising contributions, and coordinate with pension beneficiaries.
  • Perform payroll audits to make sure information correctness and compliance with internal strategies and external principles.
  • Evaluate and authenticate payroll inputs, comprising salaries, allowances, benefits, and deductions.
  • Coordinate with finance and HR teams to make sure correct employee information management and continuous payroll incorporation.
  • Deliver direction and provide support to junior staff, rectifying difficult payroll-relevant problems and issues.
  • Make and provide employee salary slips, and other related statutory payroll documents.
  • Manage payroll-relevant queries from employees, resolving issues and delivering correct data.
  • Perform constant payroll reconciliations and rectify any inconsistencies or mistakes.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and external auditors for payroll-relevant audits and compliance checks.
  • Take part in the assessment and execution of payroll system advancements or improvements.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must have Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, finance or related field from any reputed university.
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles in relevant industry.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
  • Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
