Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle the end-to-end payroll procedure for employees, make sure correctness and properness of payments.
- Compute and procedure of statutory deductions, comprising Insurance contributions, income tax, and EOBI contributions.
- Stay up-to-date with Pakistani payroll regulation and compliance needs, make sure fulfilment to all pertinent guidelines.
- Monitor the supervision of employee pension schemes, comprising contributions, and coordinate with pension beneficiaries.
- Perform payroll audits to make sure information correctness and compliance with internal strategies and external principles.
- Evaluate and authenticate payroll inputs, comprising salaries, allowances, benefits, and deductions.
- Coordinate with finance and HR teams to make sure correct employee information management and continuous payroll incorporation.
- Deliver direction and provide support to junior staff, rectifying difficult payroll-relevant problems and issues.
- Make and provide employee salary slips, and other related statutory payroll documents.
- Manage payroll-relevant queries from employees, resolving issues and delivering correct data.
- Perform constant payroll reconciliations and rectify any inconsistencies or mistakes.
- Coordinate with government agencies and external auditors for payroll-relevant audits and compliance checks.
- Take part in the assessment and execution of payroll system advancements or improvements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, finance or related field from any reputed university.
- At least 2 years of experience in similar roles in relevant industry.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
