Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support in monitoring and keeping the 24/7 Merced Irrigation District Radio SCADA System.
- Daily track and authenticate gate operation, gate position, flows and water levels observed by the SCADA system and check the real status at the site to make sure that correctness of the distribution system is kept.
- Support in the assessment of the SCADA system performance to make suggestions for enhancements to the user interface and system performance and to assist resolve operational issues.
- Able to read and present plans, diagrams, and documentation relevant to keeping SCADA and create appropriate updates to make sure GIS system integrity.
- Generate reports and modify maintenance documents for all work achieved on the SCADA system.
- Cooperate with the Irrigation Operations Department in assist of SCADA as needed.
- Make, edit, modify, and verify SCADA sites through an AutoCAD database, and find sites with GPS system.
- Modify, examine, test, determination, calibrate, and rectify SCADA applications at SCADA sites.
- Able to be do Field examination of SCADA relevant to construction activity.
- Make and perform training sessions as appropriate for new and current staff as it relates to the MID Radio SCADA System.
- Repeat numerous engineering reports.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in SCADA Engineering from any reputed university.
- At least have 3+ years of experience in similar role.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Perform task collaboratively in team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
